What Our Clients Say
Hear from our satisfied birding enthusiasts who have experienced the beauty of Peru with us.
"We did two great birding tours with Birding Peru Trips: one at Abra Malaga and another at Mirador del Condor. Both were great experiences. Juvenal and his team were super knowledgeable and friendly, going out of there way to make sure we had a great day and saw our target species. Would definitely go through them for our next birding trip out of Cusco!"
We did two 1 day long birding trips with Peru Birding Trips. We went to Abra Malaga and to Apurimac Canyon.
They were really fun adventures into some incredibly beautiful parts of Peru. In addition to finding the target species, the guides were helpful in sharing more about the birds behavior, their cultural significance and pointing out interesting flora like rare orchids. They also helped me get some really great shots of the birds.
Juvenil and William are very professional since they have been doing tours for other birding companies for many years and recently started their own company. The driver was extremely safe and careful. The team is fluent in english, spanish and quechua which is quite helpful in the mountains.
My family and I had an amazing experience with our guide Juve trekking the Inca trail from Km104. With 2 kids climbing on a very hot April day, Juve was patient, kind and motivating. His passion for Inca civilization and history and the Quechua people was very apparent. His teachings and theories were always so interesting even to my children. We also had an added bonus of learning about all the birds around the cloud forest as Juve is an avid birder and could tell many species of birds just by their calls. We had a gorgeous clear day for our hike and captured all the iconic shots. The following day was rainy and cloudy and we were joined by the rest of our family for the tour of the ancient city. It was a completely different experience from the clear sunny day before. This time, the weather was rainy and cloudy which shrouded the city in mystery. We were so fortunate to experience both. We learned so much about Ancient Incas and even the pre-Incans. It was such a pleasure to have such a knowledgeable guide. I would definitely recommend Juve as a guide but especially if you have children in your group.
